The Pressure Washing Services KPI Scorecard in Google Sheets scores 10 pressure washing KPIs from 5 KPI groups on one month-picker page. Every card shows the value, a target value, the change, the change percentage, a red, amber or green light and a 12-month mini bar chart. Twelve months of MTD and YTD Actual, Target and Prior Year sample figures are included, and a KPI Trend page charts any single metric across the year.
This listing is the KPI Scorecard edition for Google Sheets: a Scorecard page, a KPI Trend page and Input Data, KPI Definition and Color Settings tabs. It is a different product from our analytical dashboards and from the separate KPI Dashboard line, which uses a different layout.

🔑 Key Features of the Pressure Washing Services KPI Scorecard in Google Sheets
🎯 Ten KPIs built for a pressure washing crew. First-Time Completion Rate, Average Job Duration, Re-Clean Rate, Customer Satisfaction Score, Repeat Customer Rate, Average Online Review Rating, Average Revenue per Job, Gross Profit Margin, Equipment Downtime and Safety Incident Rate each get their own card, unit, formula and definition.
📅 Three drop-downs control the whole page. Pick a month, switch between MTD and YTD, and compare against Target or Prior Year (PY). All ten cards recalculate from the Input Data tab through SUMIFS lookups, so nothing has to be copied across by hand.
🚦 Direction-aware traffic lights. Six KPIs are typed UTB (upper the better) and four LTB (lower the better): Average Job Duration, Re-Clean Rate, Equipment Downtime and Safety Incident Rate. A rising re-clean rate turns red, while a rising customer satisfaction score turns green.
📊 A 12-month mini chart on every card. Each card finishes with a January-to-December bar strip, with the best month in green and the weakest in red, so one bad month stands out right next to the headline figure.
📈 A KPI Trend page for any metric. Select a KPI to see its group, unit, type, formula and definition, plus two charts: Actual vs Target vs PY by Month for MTD and the same comparison for YTD.
✏️ Editable KPI list. Names, groups, units, formulas, definitions and UTB/LTB types sit in plain cells on the KPI Definition tab, so you can rename a metric to match how your business already reports it.
📦 What’s Inside the Template
The file has eight tabs: Scorecard, KPI Trend, Input Data, KPI Definition, Color Settings, Read Me, and two helper tabs (Support and Trend_Support) that feed the cards and charts. The four pages you work with are shown below.
Page 1: Scorecard
All 10 KPI cards in two rows of five. With December, MTD and Target selected, the sample data reads 4 green, 3 amber and 3 red: First-Time Completion Rate is 88.8% against a 76.4% target, Average Revenue per Job is $293.0 against $252.0, and Gross Profit Margin is 47.2% against 50.0%.

Page 2: KPI Trend
Choose a KPI from the Select KPI drop-down and the page fills in KPI Group, Unit, Type, Formula and Definition. Charts include Actual vs Target vs PY by Month (MTD) and Actual vs Target vs PY by Month (YTD), with the target drawn as a line over the bars.

Page 3: KPI Definition
One row per KPI with its group, name, unit, formula, definition and type. The five groups are Job Execution (3 KPIs), Customer (3), Financial (2), Operations (1) and Safety & Compliance (1).

Page 4: Input Data
Ten blocks, KPI-1 to KPI-10, each holding twelve monthly rows of MTD Actual, Target and PY and YTD Actual, Target and PY. Overwrite those 120 rows with your own numbers and every card and chart follows.

For owners who already run jobs in another tool and want one monthly page of quality, customer and margin numbers without another subscription, this scorecard sits in the sweet spot.
👥 Who This Template Is For — and Who It’s Not For
✅ This template is built for:
- Owner-operators of pressure washing or soft washing businesses who review their numbers once a month
- Operations managers running several crews who want job quality, customer and margin KPIs on one page
- Bookkeepers and consultants preparing a monthly KPI review for a home services client
❌ This template is NOT for:
- Teams that need job scheduling, quoting, invoicing or a CRM – the scorecard reports numbers you already collect
- Anyone needing a safety, environmental or regulatory record – Safety Incident Rate here is a management KPI only
- Businesses wanting per-job or daily tracking – the file stores one row per KPI per month
⚙️ How to Use the Template
- Open the PDF in your download and click its link to make your own copy in Google Drive.
- On KPI Definition, keep or rename the ten KPIs and confirm each UTB or LTB type.
- On Input Data, overwrite the sample MTD and YTD Actual, Target and PY values month by month.
- On the Scorecard, pick the month, MTD or YTD, and Target or PY.
- Open KPI Trend and choose a KPI to review its twelve-month pattern.
Good to know before you buy: in the current build the month drop-down lists June and July in full while Input Data stores Jun and Jul, so those two months show zeros until you change the drop-down’s list to Jun and Jul (Data > Data validation, a one-minute edit – Google explains how to edit an in-cell drop-down list). YTD values are typed rather than calculated, the Read Me tab is blank, and the Color Settings tab is not linked to the lights. The blog post covers each point.
💼 Real-World Use Cases
Marcus runs a three-van pressure washing company. Driveways, decks and house washes keep his crews busy, but callbacks eat into the week. He enters each month’s figures, watches Re-Clean Rate and First-Time Completion Rate side by side, and uses the red light as the prompt for a crew conversation.
Priya manages operations for a commercial exterior cleaning contractor. She switches the Scorecard to YTD vs PY before each quarterly review, then opens KPI Trend on Equipment Downtime to show whether repair spend on pressure washers is paying off.
Dan keeps the books for several home services firms. He shares a copy with each owner and walks through Gross Profit Margin and Average Revenue per Job every month, using the formula column on KPI Definition so nobody argues about what a number means.
❓ Frequently Asked Questions
What KPIs does this pressure washing scorecard track?
It tracks ten: First-Time Completion Rate, Average Job Duration, Re-Clean Rate, Customer Satisfaction Score, Repeat Customer Rate, Average Online Review Rating, Average Revenue per Job, Gross Profit Margin, Equipment Downtime and Safety Incident Rate, grouped into Job Execution, Customer, Financial, Operations and Safety & Compliance.
Is this the same as a pressure washing KPI dashboard?
No. This is the KPI Scorecard family: ten cards on one month-picker page plus a KPI Trend page. A KPI Dashboard edition uses a different layout with more KPIs and analysis pages. A Pressure Washing Services KPI Scorecard in Excel is also in preparation as a separate product.
How long does setup take?
Making your copy takes seconds. Replacing the sample data depends on how many months you have; a business with its monthly totals ready can fill all 120 input rows in well under an hour, after which the Scorecard and KPI Trend pages update on their own.
How does it compare to Jobber or Housecall Pro?
Those are field service platforms for scheduling, quoting and invoicing, billed as a subscription. This scorecard does none of that. It is a one-time Google Sheets file that turns the monthly totals you already have into ten scored KPI cards and trend charts.
Can I change the traffic-light thresholds?
Yes, but not on the Color Settings tab, which is display-only in this build. The bands that actually drive the lights sit in the Support helper tab, cells Z4:AD6: at or below 0% variance, up to 10%, and above 10%, mirrored for lower-the-better KPIs.
Do I need Microsoft Excel?
No. Everything runs in Google Sheets in a browser or the Google Sheets mobile app with a free Google account. No add-ons, scripts or macros are required.
