- Download the PDF and click its Google Sheets link to make your own editable copy in Google Drive.
- Open KPI Definition and adjust KPI names, units, formula text or UTB/LTB type to match how your company measures each one.
- If you rename a KPI, use the identical name on its Input Data block; the cards match the two tabs by name.
- On Input Data, type each month’s MTD Actual, Target and PY, and the YTD Actual, Target and PY.
- On Scorecard, pick the month, choose MTD or YTD, and choose Target or PY.
- Open KPI Trend and select a KPI to review its 12-month pattern, then share the file by link.
⚠️ Good to know before buying: in this build the Select Month dropdown lists “June” and “July” while Input Data stores “Jun” and “Jul”, so picking either of those two months leaves all ten cards blank. The other ten months work as shipped. The fix takes about a minute: select the month cell and edit its in-cell dropdown list so it reads Jun and Jul. The Read Me tab currently holds only the title, so use the steps above as your guide.

How long does setup take?
Making your copy takes a minute. Reviewing the KPI list takes about ten more. Typing a full year of your own figures, six numbers per KPI per month, is the longest step; most firms can do it in one sitting from their month-end reports.
Can I change the traffic light thresholds?
Yes, but not on the Color Settings tab: that tab shows the band table, while the lights read a copy of it on the Support tab (cells Z4 to AE6). As shipped, an upper-the-better KPI turns green only when it beats target by more than 10% and red at or below target.
Does it replace safety or compliance software?
No. Total Recordable Incident Rate and Near-Miss Reports Closed On Time are monthly figures you type in. The scorecard does not record incidents, decide what counts as recordable, manage permits or prove compliance with any standard. Use your own safety program for that.
How does it compare to construction software like Procore or HCSS?
